LEISA'S DRESSMAKING

I first learnt to sew in high school as a 12 year old.  I vividly remember the excitement I felt at realizing this was something I could do well. I was born with a hearing impairment and being able to sew meant I could still make a meaningful contribution to society. I attended Bentley Tafe following high school and graduated with an Advanced Certificate in Clothing Construction.

I worked at a few different places since graduating but it wasn't until I worked at a bridal shop that I realized I really enjoyed helping the girls with their outfits.  When I left the bridal shop I decided to start my own business hence Leisa’s Dressmaking was born and I have been helping bridal parties since September 2006.
